Per tablet: 1000 mg glucosamine HCl (shrimp & crab), 1000 mg MSM, 600 mg Perna canaliculus (green-lipped mussel), 100 mg DMG, 50 IU Vitamin E, 24 mg Vitamin C, 10 mg manganese, 5 mg grape seed extract, 2 mg L-glutathione, and 0.002 mg selenium.
How many tablets should I give my dog, and how often?
We recommend an initial loading period of 4-6 weeks followed by daily maintenance. Please reference our Directions for Use chart to identify the proper dosage for your dog, based on weight.
Do these Extra Strength Healthy Hip & Joint tablet contain chondroitin?
There is naturally occurring chondroitin in the Perna/Green Lipped Mussel, which is the main ingredient in the Extra Strength products. Our Ultimate Healthy Hip & Joint products have additional chondroitin in their ingredients as well.
How do I choose between your Healthy Hip & Joint product strengths?
Our basic Healthy Hip & Joint products are great for younger dogs and preventive maintenance; Extra Strength is ideal for active/working dogs or those with mild stiffness; Ultimate is best for dogs with visible mobility issues and/or senior dogs.
Can I pair this product with other supplements?
Yes! Our Extra Strength Healthy Hip & Joint supplements can be paired with other VetriScience products, such as our Dental Care powder or Calm & Confident chews. As always, consult your veterinarian before making changes to your petcare regimen.
